COVID-19 Relief: Helping City Harvest, NACTO, NYDIS, HPAE, and more
These days are tough on all of us, and on none more than people working on the front line of delivering essential services or working with vulnerable communities. With our longstanding partners, we are building additional features aimed at better information sharing, providing rapid response hubs, assisting with nonprofit fundraising, and designing new sections for emotional and mental health support.
We want to highlight the great work of these organizations as they help provide these guidance and leadership to relevant stakeholders and support the people they serve.
City Harvest
“Designated an essential service by Governor Cuomo and New York State, City Harvest, New York City’s private response to hunger and largest food rescue organization, has mobilized to feed children, families, and all of our neighbors in need during the COVID-19 pandemic.”
We helped City Harvest temporarily reconfigure their homepage to support the channel 5 “foodathon” fundraising drive in April. As a result of the drive, City Harvest raised enough money to feed over 1.7 million New Yorkers.
City Harvest is also utilizing our flexible web templates to setup a COVID-19 Hub on their site.
NACTO
“City governments and transit agencies are on the front lines of responding to the COVID-19 pandemic and are rapidly developing policies and projects for this emergency. NACTO will continually update this page with guidance and tools”
We helped NACTO set up a global website alert and reconfigured homepage banner to point visitors to their COVID-19 resources hub.
NYDIS
“NYDIS is a faith-based federation of over 60 diverse judicatories, disaster human services providers, and charitable organizations who work in partnership to provide disaster readiness, response, and recovery services to New York City – and, support recovery in disaster-impacted communities with a direct connection to NYC.”

HPAE
“The Health Professionals and Allied Employees (HPAE) is the largest union of Registered Nurses and health care professionals in New Jersey.”
We worked with HPAE to improve access to their COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to design and implement a memorial section for members and families lost to the virus.
We send our gratitude to the hardworking nurses and medical workers putting themselves at risk every day in the fight against COVID-19, and extend our heartfelt sympathy to the families of those who have passed away.
